Assalamualaikum wbt
As requested, so here is a video about winter in Moscow, with some photos and videos inside. The photos were taken from winter collection 2008 (December 2007-February 2008). The song used is Sneg Idyot (It’s Snowing) by a Russian group called Glukoza. If I’m not mistaken, it was famous in early 2005 when I was in 2nd year. Seriously, I love this song simply because it takes me away with it and the feel is there. The winter feeling. The freeze. The loneliness. The quietness. The family. The one(!). The life. The sadness. And not to forget, the emptiness. In fact, I celebrated my 21st birthday in 2006 alone (my housemates went back to Malaysia during winter break) and I listened to this song all night long.
I still have no camera and my handphone camera isn’t good enough to capture scenery. Therefore, I recycle my last year’s winter collection (Anyway, I haven’t shared them with you all yet). Ok. Enjoy the video and ONLY after that you may continue reading the lower most part. Oh, forgive me for picking up a Russian song this time. You may not understand all but the feeling is still there. Hehe =)
Actually, while writing this up, I received a comment for the previous entry. Someone has just thrown out his/her thought for not satisfying with me where he/she claimed that I just shared the good sides of me. If I were the old me, I might get emotional upon this issue. I might say, who is he/she to judge me, does he/she really know me and something like that. But, I am very OK reading the comment. Well, people are always free to say anything about me. But I am 120% sure that I never pretend to be someone else in my writing. I personally started blogging to kill my time which I found, my life after classes/hospital were very boring back then. Thus, I, who very much love writing, decided to start blogging and so, I could get connected with my family and close friends in a unique way: Blog. And that’s why my blog was named My World before this. Yes. This is my world. Here I have my family who follows my updates, I found good friends and I found life. A life that I enjoy most. It’s all about writing. If you claimed that I tell only the good sides of me, please recheck your words. I am very out spoken. And people can see it clearly in here. A year ago, I wrote about a hot issue (how out-spoken I am) and I got condemned by people. That’s one bad thing about me. I portrayed some other bad stuffs about me too. I am easily kicked emotionally. When I was carried away by certain issues that came in my life, I jotted it here. People can see that how fragile I am. How weak my emotion is. How stupid I handle those issues. How could I share personal issues in blog. That shows how immature I am. I remember receiving a comment not long ago saying that sometimes I seem very firm on my principes without considering people’s advices and what would be the consequences in the future. See. That what is bad about me. I am stubborn. Another bad thing about me, I have a background from islamic school but still, I do not practice all anymore. I listen to songs (the lagha ones) and I’ve changed. I am not the old me as what people wanted me to be. I no longer wear tudung labuh. I bet that my ex-schoolmates might call me a hypocrite but I don’t mind it. That what is bad about me. And now, you’re telling me that I write only the good ones. It means that you don’t know me, yet. Recently, I burst to one of my readers that I don’t feel ease with the way he commented in my entries. He stopped showing himself up and I knew he was hurt by my action. That what is bad about me. And for that reason, I personally emailed him to ask for forgiveness. He is now still around and ask him whether I seriously did it or not. I did hurt him, I swear. I did.
But I always realize, I can’t comfort every single of you who stops by and reads my blog. And for that, if you don’t satisfy with me nor my blog, just leave me alone and don’t bother to drop by again. (I think) I am very OK right now. Your words didn’t give big impact on me but I just don’t want this blog becomes the stage of fight once again. I have had it enough. I appreciate your comment and for that, I thank you.
Aishh, I told you to watch the video first, didn’t I? Ok, ok. Scroll up and enjoy the video. But that is not everything about winter in Moscow. Let’s imagine you live your days in -25’C and a day or two in a month, you have to endure even colder weather. I had a few times freezing my face and hands in -45’C. This is truly Russia =)
